Jonathan Adler x Michaels 7.5" Geometric DIY Square Ceramic Vase

The offset geometric pattern on the front is subtle enough that my glaze job actually looks intentional. Took two coats of matte white and it fired without any cracking, which I was worried about with ceramic this thin.

The 7.5 inch square shape gives it a nice modern look that fits perfectly on my entryway console. I used a matte white glaze on the offset geometric pattern and it dried with a really clean finish. The unfinished surface soaked up the glaze evenly, no rough patches at all.

The raw ceramic surface takes paint beautifully, and the square offset design catches light from every angle once it's on a shelf. I spent an afternoon glazing mine in a deep navy and it's become the conversation piece of my living room.
